Once upon a time Jade was an avid journal writer, but lost her journal in her sister's car during the scariest blizzard drive of my life. This one's more for me so I don't forget about the good times. Here's the breakdown of my week:
Thursday: Rachael and I went on an epic journey to find the dump (don't ask)
Friday: Helped Rat wash dishes, ate deliciousness (Casey's fajitas) and watched Baby Mama. Oh, bless that show. Bless it. Then we rescued Rachael from a weird dance concert she was attending with ze becky. We risked getting raped by walking all the way to the institute building to attend ugly sweater dance... which was kinda awkward cuz it was just us two dancing in our own little corner. When a slow song came on Rachael put her head down and walked into a corner. That girl makes me laugh so hard. After like two songs we left. Ugly sweaters are a good idea... but it gets kinda stuffy after two minutes. Becky, Rachael and I decided we needed to throw a little dance party of our own. In our kitchen. Not gonna lie- it was pretty epic. We grabbed our little guitar hero guitar and our little karaoke microphone and jumped on the table and head banged and just danced around. Oh goodness. I have the coolest roommates ever.
Saturday: Went Christmas shopping with Casey in St George. Pretty much didn't buy anything haha. But as much fun as Cedar is, it was nice to get away for a while. After that I went to the institute choir christmas concert with my best friend Andrew, and got the most heavenly sandwiches I've ever tasted at the Pastry Pub. Then we drove around looking for Christmas lights, which aren't really existant here. I always forget Christmas is less than three weeks away! Oh. And we talked about the weird things that everyone has that they think is attractive in the opposite sex. Ex: Veins, feet, strong forearms (that's mine haha), shoes... etc.
Sunday: Church was so good. It really made me realize that everyone's been through some sort of something that's made them who they are today. I just loved it. And the first presidency christmas devotional was ABSOLUTELY amazing!
Monday: The "Study Day". Uhm... we tye-dyed T-shirts. And socks. And I did my underwear too. HaHa. We bought that dye the second week of school! Glad we finally got around to it eh? Recieved a letter from Elder Dennis DeCamp, who's leaving the MTC next week to go to Austrailia. Miss him. Oh, and the boys down the hall taught me how to play Risk. I won. By default. And a lot of help. But still... I won!
Yesterday: Cafe Rio w/ the roomie and Rhet. Oil change, for the ride home. The super nice guys there didn't take advantage of me not knowing anything (Uhm... do I need engine fluid? What's my filter got to do with this?).
Today: We STUDIED!! Finally. And we had our roommate Christmas Party. I got Nia Lindor Chocolates and her favorite cereal. And Rach got me the Keith Urban I heavily hinted I wanted. We don't keep secrets. Haha.
Coming up...
JESS IS GETTING MARRIED! 8 days! Aaaah. My sister. A married woman. I'm so excited for her.
My killer final in Biology. Imma die soon.
More adventures w/ my Soul Sister Rebecca Kitzmiller and her crazy life.
Livin in good ol V-town for a whole month.
Wish me luck!
LOVES!
Jade-o
PS- To Rach: Twilight vids... poodles, "When your taking the shots with the camera... what's the best way to do it?", Plain rice, Brushing your teeth/slirping hot chocolate ("How else are you supposed to drink it!?"), Moldy Refridgerator adventures, ARTIC CIRCLE! This week... haha, so good. Love ya roomie. Imma miss you!

Adventures in Page
I'm awful at this whole blogging thing, but I'm going to BLOG about my completely EPIC weekend in the town of Page, Arizona where my roommate Becky Holsten resides. It was so awesome!
So we got there friday night. Can I just say the drive was a lot like the one to Vernal? Becky and Brant were like, "Uhm... so there's basically an hour of nothingness. I hope you don't mind." I'm totally used to that! Anyway, when we got there we unpacked, watched The Last Song, slept. That's not the interesting part. Obviously... haha.
Saturday "morning" (...Rach and I kinda slept in.) we went to...
After that we went and ate, passed a little fair (Sherry was SO EXCITED. Apparently they don't have those in China :), dropped Becky's little sister - Karyn - off at dance lessons, bought... postcards (!) at good o' Wally-World, after that we went to the Denny's Lookout and took even more pictures. It was SO pretty.
Oh did I mention Rachael Bailey is the best roommate ever? Cuz she is.
Okay, and I kinda had this nerdy excitement that we were in Arizona during daylight savings time change. Guess what? Arizona doesn't HAVE daylight savings time! That's right. We changed time zones, then never changed back. ... Just an hour of my life I'll never get back. Okay, honestly, it's not that exciting but I still was super excited about it. haha.
Well, I'm thinkin it's time to get some sleep for once! Thanks Becky for the amazing weekend at your little hometown. It was an amazing adventure I'll never forget. :)
Loves.

Horshoe Bend!
Ooooh it was pretty epic! Rach kept being crazy and sitting on the edge of the cliff/rocks. I was seriously scared for her life! She's like "Oh, I'm pretty sure if I fell I wouldn't die. I'd just break a few bones is all." Looking down, I think you'd agree with me in saying she'd die. At least Becky and Sherry did. Well, eventually I joined her...
Besties.
I feel like my mom will see this and freak... cuz when I was five I remember going to little ditches and my parents spazzing out when I got even within 20 feet of it (Don't worry, Mom! I promise I'm not as crazy as I look!). We took about a billion pictures. It was so super fun!
After that we went to the dam. Ooooh goodness guys, we told so many "dam jokes" I was laughing every five seconds. "Dam cops", "Dam bridge" "Dam workers!" Our favorite?
Don't ask me why. Haha. Anyway, we took a tour of the visitor center... I found out the good o' hometown dam of Flaming Gorge Utah is the 8th highest dam in the United States. I also found out Rachael's dam IQ is 82. These are good things to know about one's roommate!
After telling a series more of most excellent dam jokes, we took the drive to Lake Powell! I was super excited cuz I'd never been there before! The water was way colder than expected, even though it should be, it is November afterall.
The best part of the day? The Balloon Regatta! K, so what it is is they line up a bunch of hot air balloons at night, blow them up, wait til it's dark, then throw hot air in them.
Which causes them to...
GLOW! Oooooh. It was like giant multicolored christmas lights! I can't even begin to explain how awesome of a sight it was to see. Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! I just loved it!!
It's not like I could take any really good pictures of it, cuz it was dark, but here's one of my [many] attempts:
That's four of them. Imagine twenty-five. I'm super grateful and incredibly to have the most amazing roommates in the world. We had such a great time! Becky and Brant are pretty much Page celebrities! Sherry- oh goodness. I love that girl! I found out she's a Harry Potter fan, which takes me out of a slight depression because none of my roommates even LIKE Harry Potter. And I kinda love it. A lot. 11 more days!Oh did I mention Rachael Bailey is the best roommate ever? Cuz she is.

Old Pictures Make Me Happy
Why hello there everybody! I made a blog and I'm pretty super excited about it. I feel that I converted many to bloggism before I myself got a blog. As the good ol' Black Eyed Peas would say "Can you practice what you preach?" (Where is the Love? -oh the memories!). So here I am. Anyway, I just found a bunch of old and semi-old pictures on my laptop. Note to self: In the future, if you're ever feeling down, old pictures is where it's at. There's just something about them that reminds you about how amazing life is, and how much love you have for your family and friends. Absolute. Love.
Speaking of pictures! Rachael (my bestie/roomie) and I put like- fifty pictures on our wall in our room today. It just makes me happy everytime I see them. We've had so many epic adventures already, I'm so excited for the rest of the year! I love all my roommates, we have some crazy good times.
Alright, other adventures of today: Saw my sister's wedding announcements- super excited for that. And talked to my high school's cross country team. I love and miss them so much!
