I think I have ADD a little. That would explain why I only have an hour attention span, why I can't finish anything I start, and why I see chickens everywhere I go (jus kiddin). It ends tonight!! I'm finishing this song thing, if it's the last thing I ever... blog. (that's a lie- I hope). I don't think I'll link them cuz I have other things to do with my life. You can youtube them if you want to! I know it's not as convenient but ... deal wid it. :) Anyway... to continue the Saga:
Day 16: A song you wish everyone in the world knew because you LOVE it so much and are currently obsessed with it (I tweaked this one.. haha)
Keep Your Head Up- Andy Grammer
"Only rainbows after rain, the sun will always come again"
Someone Like You- Matt Wertz
"Baby, I admit, I got used to loneliness. I've been waiting for someone like you."
Happy as the Sun - Tyrone Wells
Kinda regret showing this to my roommates, cuz now they listen to it all the time. Es okay, I like it :)
Day 17: A Song You Hear Often on the Radio
ET - Katy Perry
Day 18: A Song You Wish You heard on the Radio
Summer Girls - LFO
I know it's old, but this song cracks me up.
Day 19: A Song From Your Favorite Album
Uhm... I don't have a favorite album? But I saw this man in concert and may I say I am a lifelong fan. Also, I freaking love this song.
I'm In - Keith Urban
Day 20: Fav Song by Someone You Know Personally
Rockets 2 Mars - Miracle In the Making
Itunes search it, people! Es so good!
Day 21: A Song You Listen to when You're Driving
I Believe in a Thing Called Love- The Darkness
Classic. Also my Junior Prom date could hit every note. It was both disturbing and attractive.
And may I also throw it out there- I've been obsessed with This Kiss by Faith Hill lately, and seriously blast it in my car. Also I get some strange looks from strangers because of it haha.
Day 22: A Song You Work Out To
When I was a baby eighth grader, and couldn't even lift a ten pound dumbbell, I worked out with the soccer team during the summer. And we listened to Beverly Hills - Weezer and it brings me back everytime. Love it.
Day 23: A Song You Want to Play at Your Wedding
Oh buddy, here comes the list. I love - love songs.
Forever and Ever, Amen - Randy Travis
"As long as old men sit and talk about the weather, as long as old women sit and talk about old men..."
Just Another Day in Paradise - Phil Vassar
"Wouldn't trade it for anything.... And I ask the Lord every night for just another day in paradise."
Would You Go With Me - Josh Turner
"If I gave you my hand would you take it and make me the happiest man in the world?"
Shoot, I just realized these were all country. Haha oh well. I have more that aren't country... but I like these three the best :)
Day 24: A Song You Want to Play at your Funeral
Weird! Well, I hope to like- have my funeral at a church, so I would have to say "Abide With Me, Tis Eventide", cuz I love that one, and we don't sing it at church very often because... it's like not in the evening so it wouldn't really make sense. My funeral must be held at 8 or 9 PM. None of this morning stuff. Mourning must be an afternoon thing. It just makes more sense okay?
Day 25: A Song That Makes You Laugh
Fit but You Know it - The Streets
British accent? Check. Good luck finding an edited version. hah. Close second - The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything - Relient K (Yep, their version... so great) Also, Credits Song by the Veggie Tales! Yaya!
Day 26: A Song You Can Play On an Instrument
Time of Your Life - Green Day (Thanks Tiara)
Day 27: You Wish You Could Play
Yes, yes I do.
Day 28: Guilty Pleasure?
Mandy! - Jo Bros!
Day 29: Song From Your Childhood
My grandma used to sit me on her lap and sing the "I love you a bushel and a peck" song so it would have to be my favorite.
Also there's a song called "Good Brown Gravy" by Joe Diffie I believe (Yep, too lazy to look it up). Since I loved my potatoes my family dedicated that song to me.
Shania Twain, Billy Gilman, Huey Lewis. Any of the above=Jade's Childhood. Love!
Day 30: Fav Song From Last Year
Trouble - Nevershoutnever!
AND I'M FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
k bye!

Days 14-15: Non Expected and Self-Describing Songs.
Day 14: A Song No One Would Expect You to Love
Alright.... this one was hard. So I asked my wonderful roommate, Becky, what type of songs she wouldn't expect me to like. She replied: "Screamo." Good job Becky, 10 points to Gryffindor. I really don't like any screamo songs, I feel like it's devil music. So I asked her what else and she told me something really depressing probably. I have a few of those. Here's the winner: Ronnie Day - My Only Friend. Thanks to some older soccer teammates, I actually kinda like this song : )
Runner up: Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying - Fall Out Boy - The title says it all... it's a little too creepy, and I don't really like it anymore, but I used to! Back in those good Junior High days. Oh, good times. Also, there's a great emo poem at the end. Probably the greatest, most pure poem of emoness out there.
Day 15: A Song that Describes You
This one:
Haha, okay, just kidding.
So, I kinda stumbled upon this one a while back.... dah! I don't know how to explain this! There's this song, that doesn't really describe me, but it describes a time of my life that was really .... hard. One of those times in your life you wouldn't wish on anyone, ever, and pray that you never have to go through again. That kind of hard. I dunno, it's really personal I guess. It's just... like a page out of my journal/life. K... I'm lame. It's kinda another sad song so ... you'll probably wanna just listen to some Big N Chunky because that song is seriously just great. =) Anyway, here it is:
Jade-o
Oh! PS- My roommies are great! Who makes you brownies and cupcakes and gets you a spongebob piƱata for your birthday? These guys. Also my RA is a sexy and an amazing dancer. And the champion! And also I get to see Rachael Bailey tomorrow! Oh yeah, and my birthday in 2... wait... ONE day. There's also this little thing called Spring Break. Can life get any better? I submit to you that it can not! :)

Song of the Day
This has absolutely nothing to do with the 30 day challenge, but it's defines how I feel today. Gotta love that.

The Saga Continues...
Alright that took a while... whoops!
And here we go again:
Day 10- A Song That Makes You Fall Asleep
After many many trips for extra curricular activities in high school, mostly getting home between 12 and 1 AM with school the next day, I had many a opportunity to listen to songs and fall asleep. The one that would get me everytime was "Your Guardian Angel" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. It is the most beautiful sleepy song I've ever heard. And I owe it a big THANK YOU for allowing me to get an extra two hours of sleep, despite the long bus trips.
Day 11- A Song From Your Favorite Band
I love Jack Johnson. Not just because the difference between our names is a mere two letters... that adds, yes. But that's the last concert I got to go to before making the big trek to good o' college (Not to mention I went with my best friend EVER!), and of course I don't really have a favorite favorite band, but this is one of them. My suggestions would be A) Bubble Toes - I'm totally addicted to that song. and B) Do You Remember- which Jack told us he wrote about his wife... and it makes it even more cute than it already is. Wedding playlist? Definately.
Day 12- Least Favorite Band
Nickelback. The lead singer sounds like he smokes two packs a day. Not really my muse. Yuck.
Day 13- A Song That Reminds Me of a Group of People
(Formerly Guilty Pleasure... Keeping the "G.P." theme.)
Yeah, I changed this one! For a good reason. Here's the story:
Once upon a time our high school does a little thing at the end of the year called "Senior Assembly". Basically it's a celebration of all the seniors and how awesome we are. A glorified talent show for people that you probably won't see again, if you will. So Kandice, our student body prez, gets up and says she had a little gift for us, but since she had no musical talent she was going to let two other guys from our grade play a piano guitar duet of it. The song: Soco Arametto Lime. (I might add... Kandice stole my ipod earlier that week to listen to it... so... I contributed slash kinda knew about it before hand. haha.). I just remember it like it was yesterday. The kitzkiller and I were sitting front row, center, on the floor because the autotorium was so crowded. It was the last part of the assembly, our last real day at OUR high school. And those two boys started playing this song. And when the chorus rolled around THE ENTIRE SENIOR CLASS started singing. It gave me chills. Literally.
So everytime I hear this song, I think of Uintah High School's graduating class of 2010. This is our anthem.
We're the coolest kids, and we'll take what we can get. <3

Day 7-9 The Song That Reminds You That You Know All the Words to the Song You Can Dance To.
Day 7 - A Song That Reminds You of a Certain Event
I've procrastinated this because I had a really awesome elaborate story to go along with it. It was probably the coolest thing that I've ever experienced, but that will have to wait... considering I'm so far behind. Here's the runner up story:
The first Friday after I turned sixteen, I went on my first date. I was kinda really nervous and feeling a little bit awkward (My parents taking twenty pictures was a little much for me) but on our way over to his house we jammed out to "our song"(... not in the Taylor Swift sense. In the two people sense). And to be honest, we'd been waiting to for months. We got to his house, played "You Might Be a Redneck If..." game with Travis and Taylor, roasted marshmallows and hotdogs, told stories, and then it started snowing on us! It was definitely a memorable night.
Blink-182 - First Date
Day 8 - A Song That You Know All the Words To
At first I thought "day 8" was really dumb. Then I had an epiphany. I happen to know all the words to this particular song ... give or take a few. I don't even know if you can handle this much talent in one small college student. My friends, you are goint to have to try. Please. Pretty sure this is one of my more amazing talents. Slice like a ninja. Cut like a razor blade.
Day 9 - A Song That You Can Dance To
I remember waltzing to this song in the middle of my living room on a date. Such a beautiful song- one of my favorites.
Love

Day 5-6 A Song that Reminds You of Someone and Somewhere
Day 5: A Song that Reminds you of Someone
Some of these are really really hard! I'm pretty sure you could pick anyone I know and I could tell you a song that reminds me of them. But since Levi dedicated his whole Day 5 to me, he wins. You missed a few Levi :) This one basically bleeds "Levi." I over-listened to it back in the day... so I haven't heard it in a while. Love it!
Day 6: A Song that Reminds You of Somewhere
Once upon a time a Cadin, Deidre, Taylor and myself took the drive to Colorado, and back into Utah to go to a place called Harper's Corner. On one side, we could see the Corner, and Echo Park (very appropriately named... I yelled so much at it I think my friends were about to throw me off the cliff) and on the other side we could see a dark cloud move over our little town of Vernal, and watched as it started to rain, and then came the lightning. It. Was. AWESOME! The fact that we could watch it rain over our hometown from a distance and not actually be IN the rain... breathtaking. We sat on our little cliff and got eaten alive by mosquitoes and ants, watched a bunch of tourists come and go, and just talked about the future and college and everything we were nervous for, everything we were excited for. THEN it started to rain on us. So we sang "Rain is a Good Thing" (which is probably one of the stupidest songs ever written, yet catchy) while we skipped back down the mile long trail to get back to Cadin's little Explorer. The second we all shut our doors, it started POURING. As we drove back, the view combined with the rain was absolutely the most beautiful sight I've ever seen. Taylor put on this song, and everytime I hear it, it takes me back to our Saturday adventure last summer.
Love Always!

Day 3 + 4 Happy and Sad Song
So many songs make me happy! The best ones are the ones that make you jump out of bed and see what the weather is like so you can listen accordingly (A Foggy Day In London Town - Michael Buble, Banana Pancakes - Jack Johnson) but the song that gets me everytime is this one- and I love the music video, it makes me happy as well :)
A song that makes me sad BUT I LOVE IT! Would be "Tonight" by FM Static. It brings me back to lying on the grass in the park and watching bats fly overhead. I don't know... it does something to me. Makes me reflect on life and stuff like that. Love it!
Loves forever!
